Readers of SCO’s VISIONS magazine will recall a Spring 2010 feature story about David Evans, OD ‘94, and his quest to bring a story he wrote to the silver screen. After his story was adapted by a Hollywood script writer, Dr. Evans directed his project. “The Grace Card” stars Oscar-winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr., and was filmed in Memphis.

The film held its premiere in Memphis on February 22nd, with the film’s nationwide opening to follow. The Commercial Appeal wrote about Dr. Evans’ new film in this story.
